Common Questions About Working Together

Choosing someone to work with is an important decision, and it's natural to have questions.

Below you'll find answers to some of the questions people most often ask before scheduling a session. My hope is that these answers will help you better understand my approach so you can decide whether working together feels like the right fit for your goals.

If you don't see your question here, that's perfectly okay. I'd be happy to talk with you personally. During a complimentary 20-minute Strategy Call, we'll discuss your questions, explore your goals, and help you decide whether working together feels like the right fit for you.

What makes your approach different from traditional talk therapy?

Talk therapy can provide valuable insight into how your past has shaped your life. My approach is different because it focuses on helping you change the subconscious beliefs and emotional patterns that may have formed because of difficult experiences.

Rather than spending months or years analyzing the past, our work is designed to help your mind and body experience new, healthier patterns that support lasting change.

Do I have to relive my trauma to heal?

No.

It's natural to wonder whether you'll have to revisit painful memories in detail. While we may acknowledge important experiences, the goal isn't to relive them. Instead, we work to transform the beliefs and emotional responses those experiences may have created.

One of the things that often surprises people is that meaningful change can happen without repeatedly revisiting painful experiences. For many, that realization brings a sense of hope and relief.

What happens during a session?

Every person is different, but sessions generally include:

  • Identifying the issue you'd like to change

  • Exploring subconscious beliefs that may be keeping you stuck

  • Using evidence-informed transformational techniques such as PSYCH-K® and the Emotion Code

  • Helping your mind and body integrate healthier patterns

Sessions are collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your needs.

Is this therapy?

No.

I am a retired psychotherapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience, but I no longer practice psychotherapy or provide mental health treatment.

Today I offer transformational coaching and energy-based approaches that focus on personal growth, emotional well-being, and changing limiting subconscious beliefs.

These services are not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Can you help if I've already been to therapy?

Many of my clients have.

Some have gained valuable insight through therapy but still feel emotionally stuck or continue repeating the same patterns.

By addressing subconscious beliefs and unresolved emotional patterns, many people discover a new level of freedom they hadn't previously experienced.

Do you work with clients outside New York?

Yes.

Sessions are conducted online, allowing me to work with clients from many different locations.

How many sessions will I need?

Every person's situation is unique.

Some people notice meaningful shifts within a few sessions, while others choose a longer transformational journey.

We'll discuss your goals during your complimentary Strategy Call and determine what makes the most sense for you.

What kinds of issues do you help people with?

People often seek support for:

  • Childhood trauma

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Low self-worth

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship patterns

  • Limiting beliefs

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Feeling stuck despite years of personal growth

How do I know if we're a good fit?

There is absolutely no obligation.

Can you guarantee results?

My commitment is to provide a compassionate, individualized process using the tools and experience I've developed over decades of helping people create meaningful change.
